How to do a playlist without gaps between tracks?

For a big party coming up, I'm planning to have a disco playlist instead of a DJ, using a playlist off the iPad.
Is there a method or app to reduce the gaps between tracks so everyone doesn't have to wait on the dancefloor for the next track to start?

Yes, there's an option in "settings" I think but I cantvremeber what it's called. It's definitely do-able though.

Not sure if you can do it on an ipad - cant to it on an ipod. Can do it in itunes on laptop though - did it for my wedding. There is some sort of fade in / out option in settings.
