Am looking for an entertainer for ds 7th birthday. Any idea of costs anyone. Also trying to a magician/disco party rather than a clown (too many kids & adults (me incl) scared of them)

Basically ds has asked for party at home. He has only named about 15 children to attend and school night.

Am already whisking him off to disney - altho he doesnt know a thing about it so doent want to go overboard on the cost of party but feel a 7th is a bit special.

Any help please

Hi, I really recommend Andy as we have been to a few of his parties and he's really great. He ex-professional so might be prepared to travel. He stopped professional work so he wasn't travelling quiet so much.

Let me know if you're interested and I'll email his details. I pasted this from his web page as I can't create a link;

As one of the country?s leading professional children?s entertainers, Andy has been in show business for over 22 years.
versatile Andy is a magician, ventriloquist, balloon-modeller, and is accompanied by his funny furry friend, Lewis the stork.
Andy & Lewis make a fantastic double act for all childrens activities & parties

Is this him? I have sent an email. He looks very prof and like he only does really big things (may be out of my budget). You say you 've been to a few of his partyies - were they at homes or quite big? I am hoping to have party art home with 10-15 guests. Thanks loads for helping out

Yes that's him

He does kiddies parties. I was quoted 90 for a hour or 125 for a 2 hour party with dancing and party games including a 1 hour magic show. My son has been to 2 parties (friends in his class) but we live local to Andy (and Lewis).

He told me he used to travel up and down the country on a professional basis but now staying near home and doing kiddies parties. He may still be prepared to travel suppose it depends how far away you are?
He's a really nice guy IMO. I'm sure I remember seeing him on the telly..

Sorry re-read my message I'm repeating myself

He did parties at local hall (saves mess at home) who charges approx 8/hr. Depends how big your house is - ours is like a shoebox.
I was'nt going to invite many more than 15 (I hope) he hasn't given me his list yet!

sarrf'ampton

It's about 3 1/2 hours away and lots of petrol? Wait and see what he comes up with?

We considered a bouncy castle & slide to save money but DH & I said they'd go mad and kill themselves imagining 15+ 4-5yr olds and toddlers flying down a giant slide and DH & I having the responsibility?? LOL

Hope you get sorted one way or the other and have a great pard'y
