Easter egg hunt in the office?

Hi all, I'm in a new job and was asked to think of little things to improve the office life
With Easter coming I thought of an egg hunt? Yay or nay for a casual workplace?

Any opinions appreciated!

How would that "improve office life"? Don't suggest it; you'll be laughed out of the building.

I say no, but you have reminded me to put a creme egg in the internal mail for someone who was seconded to my previous department and played Easter Bunny the year she was with us. It was quite fun finding the odd mini caramel egg or mini Kinder egg on shelf of files a couple of months later - it took us ages to find them all.

Erm....I may have done this. That's all I'm saying.

By improving office life do they mean finding ways to make you bond and like each other (in which case - maybe) or do they mean finding ways to improve the day to day stuff, like better procedures/division of work/practicalities (in which case - no)?

Grin Rom.

I made them all wait outside the door.

No, of course not. Are you David Brent?
Hassled explained what they meant.

Ah, our office bunny got in really, really early in the morning. No waiting involved.

This has reminded me that we saw a trail of jelly beans on the pavement on the way to school this morning. My eldest said it was an irresponsible owner not clearing after the Easter Bunny (Hop reference). Grin

It's probably a nice thing to do, op. Just not in response to being tasked with "improving office life".

I wouldn't thank you for it. Genuinely what did improve office life for me was when we took part in a step count challenge. We got in teams and we had to see you could amass the most steps. It made us get out at lunch which helped us physically and mentally and generally improved productivity.
