How to make a Frozen/princess party boy friendly

We're organising my daughter's 4th birthday party. The entertainer will come dressed as Elsa and do all the usual party games but along the Frozen theme. My DD will LOVE this! Half of the 15-20 kids attending will be boys. The entertainer has assured me (and I believe her) that the activities are v neutral and there's lots of mention of Olav, etc. but what can I do to widen the theme so the boys won't find the look of things too girly? All ideas about invitations, decorations, party bags, etc. gratefully received. One friend suggested a princess and pirate party but my tired brain couldn't work out how to put that into practice with Queen Elsa showing up!

I would just make sure Olaf features heavily in the theme.

They are 4 lots of boys that age are just as into frozen and will be excited to meet Elsa. Just go for ice themed decorations/invitations etc. A friend did a superhero party recently and had red or blue bags to decorate and fill with goodies girls wanted blue because of frozen boys were happy with either !

What are the neutral activities and what does "lots of mention of Olaf" mean?
Have a look on Pinterest there are loads of Olaf food etc on there

It's not just boys, my dd detests Disney princesses. She likes the reindeer though.

I would just do whatever your daughter wants. Mine have never heard or seen any frozen so would have no idea who any of the characters are, but would be happy with someone dressed up, cake and and balloon regardless.

Thanks. It was less about activities and more about the look of everything but I think I'm there now.

At 4 my DS couldn't have cared less about the theme as long as there was cake!

Ds went to a 4th birthday party last week where 'let it go' was the song for musical statues...he burst into tears and walked away saying 'I'm SO sick of this song, why is frozen everywhere'.....I'm not sure he'd stay if it were a frozen party!!!
