DD's 5th birthday is in June and she is having a 'Frozen' themed party (her and millions of others...). I have decided to split them into teams, each team with the name of one of the Frozen characters. I've found the following suggestions for games so far:

- Each team will choose one child to dress up as a snowman using rolls of toilet paper. The team with the best snowman will win a prize.

- Pin the carrot nose on Olaf

- Paint a stack of tissue boxes white to look like a snowman and then they have to throw balls to knock them down (not sure if they're a bit old for this one)

- Musical statue type game - but they all have to stand like they've been Frozen by Elsa. As the children move and are therefore out of the game, there will be a lucky dip bucket for them to go and choose a prize

- Musical bumps

- Dance competition in teams. The best team wins.

Can anyone make any other suggestions? Or be honest and tell me if any of these games sound rubbish, bearing in mind the children will be 5 and 6 (there may be some younger siblings aswell).

There will be lots of dancing aswell and balloon animals. We've witnessed from other parties that they like to race around with balloon swords!! So we're thinking that 5 or 6 games will be enough by the time they do a bit of running around and food...

have you had the party yet?
i have found on yellow moon website bracelt making kits with snowman and snowflake charms for £1.99 for 3 kits so have ordered some for party bags!!
really pleased with what i have got for party table. the frozen range is all pink and not very frozen like at all so i have gone with pale blue cloth, lilac napkins, plastic silver goblets and clear plastic square plates. going to put some snowflake sprinkles and diamond fairy lights on the table. cost about £8 but to buy the frozen stuff would have been about £21!!

biggest problem is the bloody elsa dress. spent an hour this morning refreshing the disney store page waiting for it to be put online as promised but once i had it in my basket and check out it said was no longer available!!

Nice Idea KEGirlOnFire, Well I choose also frozen themed party for my daughters 9th birthday party. We have hired organizer to help us with the supplies and more exciting ideas for the party this coming December. My daughter is a fan of Disney Frozen film, she really likes Elsa and Ana. My daughter requested An ice statues of Elsa and Ana.

If you have a tame scientist, see if they can get some dry ice.

Duck, Duck, Goose but Anna, Anna, Elsa. Really simple fun game but please Google as no one has ever understood when I explain (you sit in a circle, one child is on and walks outside the circle tapping each child on head in turn, every time they touch they say "Anna", but when they say "Elsa" the child they tap must jump up and try to catch them. If the person who was on reaches their place faster than the "Elsa" then the placeless child is now on.) But when kids see it they understand instantly.
And blue jelly is available at Ocado. Tastes surprisingly nice!
