Bug themed party bags

I'm doing party bags for my ds's forest school bug themed party. He will be 4. I know mn opinion on party bags is divided but I've seen the pleasure party bags give my ds. He's been known to take them to bed with him and carries them around examining the tat little gifts for several days. I asked him why he loved them so much and he said it was because it reminded him of happy times at the party and of his friends. So yes, definitely doing party bags.
However just wanted to know if anything on this list would really annoy anyone? The guests will be aged 4-13, but most are between 4 and 7.

Mister maker mini make to make a caterpillar or grasshopper
Bugs stickers
Nice plastic insect with insect fact
Ladybird shaped chocolates
Ladybird bouncy ball
Butterfly fan (boys having these too! They're beautiful!)
Stretchy frog or spider
Giant gummy sweetie snake (hideous, not keen myself, but as I understand it some crap sweet is essential in party bags)

Does that sound ok? I've tried to aim for not too much tat. All are having the same regardless of age and gender, can't be bothered to faff.

Sounds fine enough to me, you could always give the bags to the parents when they pick the kids up so that they can take out anything they're annoyed at before the kids get attached?
I never understand the hate of party bags Shock

Sounds great to me! Where did you get the ladybird stuff from? Dd is having a ladybird cake, so would be nice to have more ladybird stuff for her wee party :)

I got some from yellow moon and done from amazon. There was actually a fair bit of ladybird stuff about, more than I thought there would be!

That quotation from littlelovenadsweetness is priceless. Who could ever be a party bag denier having read this thread?

How about a pencil with bug themed rubber? Our £1 shop had those and hex bugs in beetle shapes. I suppose it all depends on how much you want to spend. My boys love the plastic crap too. We got hoppinh frogs (the spring/sucker thingies) and they went on for ages. Waht about a large balloom with the antenae that you can get?

It sounds like a lot for one bag!

Yes, all sounds great. Nice to have a mixture of things to do and not just eat.
