DD's birthday is looming and I really like the idea of a jewellery making party. I've found a couple in my area that are age appropriate and they look easy like fun. Anyone had any experience either hosting or of their child going to a party like this?

No. But it sounds a great idea, my dds would love a party like this. Good luck.

Yes, I have experieince of them.

Absolutely great idea and the kids always love them!

Children love making the jewellery and you don't need to organise any other games or entertainment, and they then take their jewellery home eliminating the need for party pags.

Very worthwhile imo.

thanks for getting back to me, after much thought and discussion we've decided to go for the mini-loons running around purpose built hall at extreme expense Wink as it's something we've not done before and something we're unlikely to want to repeat again. Roll on next year when I can look forward to dd actively requesting much more sedate celebrations ... I think!
