Recording studio party - which song?

Have booked one for my soon to be 8 y.o dd and not sure which song to select (they should familiarise themselves before the day and then will be taken through song and dance moves on thd day at the studio).

She likes dancing queen but think it might just end up being a squealing mess. Any suggestions for easy, fun song for this age group?

for my DD(8) it would be a toss up between Hot n Cold or Don't Stop.

there's one her friends all sing, the chorus is something like "baby, you're a firework" I think. maybe someone will come along and recognise it, but its definately very popular, have been to 3 8yr parties this year and they've all sung it.

Dancing Queen is very low - most youngsters struggle to sing it.

Do the studio give any suggestions at all?

Katy Perry - Firework, she does Hot and Cold as well. Dd has been singing both in the past year.

Dancing Queen is mostly low but then has the high notes as well - not my favourite in terms of likely effect - children will get cds of the recording and dd will also get dvd.

Studio gave list of songs and recommended ages but nothing really grabbed dd except Dancing Queen. I'd really want something lively and easy to sing.

katy perry - thanks.

I've just posed the question to DD and she's surprised me with her choice - apparently she would choose we will rock you.
