No, but our DD1 want to live with her BF and his Dad.

Not going well?

Our son’s girlfriend moved in. Going pretty well and I don’t think DS would have coped well on his own (only child and we’re out at work all day).

However, they both work, are respectful and help out a bit around the house. Cook occasionally and clear up.

DS finished uni last year and it was the making of him. I can imagine a very different scenario if this had happened a couple of years ago.

Are you struggling?

Yes and I've pretty much hated it, but we did it for dd and I couldn't have lived with myself if the bf not being here had damaged her MH.
Can't wait for it to be over.

I suppose it’s easier for me to have another woman around. Someone to eye roll with and she really is lovely. She brings out the best in my son.

If I didn’t get on with her it would be another story I imagine.

My DD moved in with boyfriend and his dad. It lasted a week. She came home. They are now renting a one bedroom flat. They are coping far better than I hoped.
