I’m looking for some advice please. My eldest dd is turning 21 in July and I’m trying to work out what to do for her birthday. I don’t really want to give her money, (I feel like I’m handing out money most of the time) and I don’t really want to buy her jewellery (likely to loose it), so I’m thinking of maybe taking her away, just the two of us. She’s the eldest of 4, my youngest is only 6 so I think that time for just her will be appreciated. What does a 21 year old want to do?? A four night holiday abroad, a break to London, a spa break....these are just a few ideas but I just don’t know...what did you do for your 21st or what would you do for your child’s 21st?? Mine was spent with a newborn baby and was pretty overlooked. Xx

It's going to vary completely, depending on the child.
I went away with dc1 to somewhere hot and we just relaxed by the pool and on the beach.
dc2 would hate that as she doesn't like the heat.
Really does depend on your dc.

A return airline ticket to a destination of their choosing. Or a big party.

My young adults are quite the travellers though so have always chosen the trip.

I would say do couple of nights rather than longer. Then perhaps spa for her and a friend?
