Gosh, well mine are boring apart from ds wants to leave his job to be self employed
And dd is disabled so i am looking at the joy that is adult social care

Mine are all boys, 23, 22 & 19, and all living at home. I fear I have spoiled them terribly

boy, girl, boy..and hopefully girl child will see sense and take the top floor of the house as a "bedsit" while she studies

and dh and I can cavort about the world while she studies and keeps the house safe ( ish )

My first baby turns 35 today The others are nearly 32, 28 & nearly 24. GGBB. Teacher, social worker, financial adviser & student.

The youngest is the hardest work ;of course) but they've all had their moments.

No grandchildren on (or even over) the horizon.

4 here too. Youngest dd at uni at same city as her db lives. The oldest (as, anxiety, depression) and my other ds are still at home, smoking too much dope and being lazy arsed gits.

Mine is 35. He works in customer services. I foolishly believed that when he reached 18 the hard work would be over. There have been different challenges as he has got older. I have 2 DGD's.

I've got two boys aged 21 and 24. Both living & working away - one in London and one in Sierra Leone - so I don't see them nearly often enough. I've got two dogs to keep me company, but it's not quite the same

I am hopeful this will be somewhere i can get advice and support from when dd moves on from college, even though she will be going onto adult residential care as apposed to leaving home.
Hopefully you lot will be able to make me not cry

My four are all at Uni, (BBGG) two are graduating this summer. They are all happy and it's bloody lovely not to have things to worry about. I'm sure there will be in future but for now everything is sweet and I going to enjoy it while it lasts.

I love having 'kids' this age. I find them interesting and good company. I like the fact that they still like the occasional bit of 'mothering' but are responsible for themselves. It's like I mostly get the fun bits without the hassle - sometimes when they were very little I felt I got all the hassle and none of the fun 😂.

There is so much doom and despondency in the news these days that it's easy to forget that the world can still be an exciting place for some young people.
