Any tips / experience on looking after baby (literally) one-handed?

I've hurt my wrist and am trying to rest it as much as possible as it is very sore. DS is nearly 4 months and I am trying to work out how best to look after him without completely wrecking my wrist.

I've seen my GP, got painkillers and been referred to specialist physio.

We're co-sleeping so that I don't need to pick him up for night feeds. During the day he's on a cot mattress on the living room floor so I can feed lying down.

I've got lots of general one-handed kit from similar problems in the past, eg non-slip mats, electric tin/jar opener, chopping board, plastic crockery/saucepan.

I've also got family and friends kindly popping in to give DS chance to be picked up / held and to help me with things like nappy changing. I'm also contacting Homestart to see if they can provide some support.

Any other suggestions of anything which might help me manage?

Get a pizza cutter, they are incredibly useful when chopping (not just pizzas) with one hand!
