Have namechanged due to embarassment! I know babies don't come with an instruction book and it's a shame!
DCs are 3 and 1. However, the question really applies to their entire childhoods.
Is there such a parenting book that tells you what to do/what you might do at particular ages? I mean everything from entertainment to education!
eg when child is reaches a particular age, you could -
-take them to toddler group
-apply for school place
-get them a bike
-teach them to tell the time
-wean them
-talk about the facts of life
-take them camping
-have a party for them (but what and where?)
etc etc
I have no idea how to bring my children up, mostly I just do what I think and ask my mum's advice (and the advice of people on here). Can anyone recommed a parenting book?
