Help!! I have to complain at the hairdressers!!

Hi, my daughter is 5 and has the same hair dresser each time. She is a seniour designer and usually cuts my daughters thick hair into a fantastic bob. This time though, it's not as short and it's not as good a shape. It's o.k, but not fantastic like it usually is. I've told my MIL and she says I must take her back. I am really quite shy and hate complaining. On the other hand, if I don't, then I just won't go back there and I'll grow her hair long.
I'm really nervous though, any advice appreciated.

BTW, it is expensive there £20 for a cut and blow dry for her.

Should I offer to pay more for her to correct it?

Oh thank you. I have made an appointment for her to go back on friday. Maybe I'll send my husband.

Why is it necessary to use the word complain?
Surely if this is a regular appointment, you can call the salon and explain that you would be grateful if she could have another look at the cut and that you were expecting it to be a bit shorter etc.....
It happens all the time! any good stylist will be more than happy to do that so long as her customer is happy and comes back/tells friends etc.

Thank you, I suppose it seems like complaining. I think that's how the hair dresser will see it.
So many people have commented in the past and I've told them to go to this hairdresser, as she's really good.
