I am on a very short fuse and need a rant..

..DD1 has become the toddler from hell recently. All I hear is "I want", "I don't like", "I need" constantly. We are also in the throes of potty training so am up to my eyeballs in all sorts and my hands are cracked and sore from the constant disinfecting, (she is actually doing quite well but we are still having accidents). She woke at 4am and refused to go to sleep afterwards.

Meanwhile DS1 who is 20 weeks has gone from sleeping brilliantly and only waking once to waking at 1am and just lies there laughing at me. He isn't hungry and won't go back to sleep either.

DH has been working late everynight this week and hasn't been in before midnight and he is out again at 8am.

Its our wedding anniversary today and I won't even see DH as he is working late again. I always seem to come second to work.

House is a hovel. I want to scream.

Now that I have written this I have just burst into tears. Am so fed up.

Is there anyone who could give you some help?

When life goes like this and it does frequently in this house! Just try to keep it in perspective it will pass!!!

Try to get some fresh air - take the kids for a walk it will help.

Dont worry about the house - if you really cant stand it try flylady as it only takes about 30mins a day.

You will get there. My husband works all sorts of hours and I can go for a week without seeing him. I know how it feels to be parenting alone.... you are doing a fantastic job!
