Christening Piece

My beautiful two week old daughter is getting baptised this Sunday.
Do you think I should bother with a Christening Piece, and if so, what should it contain?
Thanks

In some areas it is customary to give a 'Christening Piece' or 'Christening Bit' to the first child (of the opposite sex from your baby) you met after your child was christened (so we would be looking to give our 'Christening Piece'to a boy.)
It's meant to share the family's luck with others.
