My DS has been in floods of tears for over an hour about the family photos in his room. He says they make him so happy it makes him cry. He has one on his bedside of him as a baby, with me and DH. He just keeps looking at it and crying.
I have asked him if he is worried about anything etc. I have explained that we love him just as much now as we did when he was a baby. Nothing would console him. I Have now put on a story CD and he is quiet, but I am wondering if there may be an issue behind this? Or is he just overtired?
We are a "normal family" - usual daily stresses, but in the whole happy and loving.
He has always been sensitive, still very cuddly etc. Just wondering how I can help him cope with these emotions?
