Does anyone know where I can buy a scooter suitable for my daughter ??

Hi, my daughter is 4.7 and has a barbie scooter which she loves. It has two chunky wheels at the back which makes it nice and stable. She has almost out grown it now as she is very tall. (the height of a 6 year old) But obviously dosn't have the co-ordination or ballance of a 6 year old.
I want to get her a new scooter for christmas, but the ones I've seen for age 6+ have only one small wheel at the front and back. I think she'd find it hard to ride one like this. I've seen one with two wheels at the back, but it says age 3+ so I'm not sure it'll fit her for long.
Do any of you know if there is a scooter anywhere which is suitable for my daughter?

If she's 4.7, I'd go for a Nebulus scooter. They do have just one wheel at the back and one at the front, but they're not really big, so easy to master. Some of DS's friends (5) still ride the micro scooters and they're brilliant. However lots of really young ones ride these (my DD is 2.6 adn she has one), so your DD may feel a bit too grown-up for one of those. Don't discount the 2-wheelers though - my DS has had his Nebulus for a year, since he was just 4.

Not sure what your budget is but Micro Scooters are FAB.
DS has a Mini Micro and it has been used daily for the past 2 yrs (got it for his 2nd birthday).
They do a range so there will be something. Seem pricy but it has been the best value thing we have ever bought.

Thank you, I could always buy some knee pads until she masters it.
She goes so fast on her scooter at the moment, I can see a lot of accidents happening.

micro scooters look fab, but very pricey. I know it'd be worth it, as her scooter is her favourate toy. I might have a look on e-bay.
