Where can I get trousers to fit slim child!

Hi

Does anyone know where I can buy trousers to fit my children's waists??!! They are slim kids and nothing I buy fits them, everything falls down or I end up having to take them in. Button elastics are OK but make them look as if they have nappies on. I particularly need jogging bottoms, navy, for a 6 yo girl. Help! The ones from Next literally fell off her which was quite funny but no use for running about in...

Boden, not cheap but all have working drawstrings, a life saver! Some are button adjusters as well, but nerver looked at girls things as only have very skinny boy!

Hi. My DC are tall and slim. I found Boden jenas/trousers too "full fitting" for my DS, although their sskinny jeans were fine for DD. Gap does a classic and a slim style which are fine. However, the best (and cheapest!)fit I have found are at H&M. They have quite a large range of styles, many of which are slim cut.

Gap slim fit jeans.
Boden sweatpants were good until age of 5 ish then got too baggy.
I hate adjustable waists.

Oh sorry just noticed the jogging bottoms bit.
Could you snip, shorten and then reattach the elastic in the waistband?

Think M&S are quite narrow

Pumpkin patch worked well for my daughter when she was little.

I have three narrow children.
Zara is good for the girls especially as everything is narrower than the Next stuff.

M&S for school uniform as they have adjustable waist trousers, and Tesco tend to do this too. DS is still walking round with boxers showing over the top of his jeans though.

Oh, we've had luck with H&M too and they have just opened their second Irish branch not far from me.

Not v ethically correct but last lot we got from primark - no adjusting required.

Sainsburys are okay but not Tescos

We find H&M the best fit for jeans for a very slim DD.

The skinny jeans (Sqin?) even fitted her nicely.

I oftenhave to unpick the seam at the centre waist and run new elastic through, esp for pjamas and leggings. Proper trousers I find H and M , Gap and esprit are cut well and have adjustable waists

Try Vertbaudet.

Their skinny jeans are great and have adjustable waists.

h and hm- matalan are only ones to fit my skinny dd-adjustable waist - m and s ,asda ,next a nightmare we have given in !!

Both my dcs are skinny minnies and sometimes find the adjustable waists chafe.

Vertbaudet are very good for elasticated waists, although they do adjustable too. Usually have to order the yr up for ds to get the length but dd is wee so their clothes fit perfectly.

Boden boys are good for ds, especially if elasticated or drawstring, but the girls trews are still too capacious. Fortunately H&M do beautiful Boden type cords and trews which do fit, and are a third of the price.

Occasional bits from Next, Tesco & Asda. They are all erratic on their sizing ime.

Boots trousers often have adjustable waists as well.
