19 month old kicking off, wanting milk and not food

Wasn't sure where to put this... Anyway, DD is a pretty good eater but has always been fond of her milk. The last week or so she has eaten less and wanted more milk but this morning she is refusing all food and lying on the floor screaming because she wants more milk. She's not ill and doesn't seem to be teething so should I just let her have it? She's very definite in what she wants so should I let her dictate or refuse in the hope she might eat something? If I let her have her way she'll drink about two pints of milk today and eat nothing. Is this one of those battles I should ignore?

I would class food and milk as something to ignore. She might be feeling rough and ready to go down with a cold or something. If the solids have been reducing over the past week, maybe ring your local nurse/health visitor for advice ?

Hope she starts eating more solids very soon.

Thanks, she's really got the hump now so I'll go with the flow. She obviously wants it.

Sometimes you just need an outside opinion y'know
