Feeding bottles 3years old. Do I need to replace?

Or just replace the teats.......? Baby due Oct.
Also, does anyone know where I can get new 'inner' plastic/rubber part for Avent hand-held expresser, as also 3yr old.........

Isn't there supposed to be a nasty hormone in plastic bottles that is supposed to be released when they get too old? I thought you had to replace them regularly - like every 6 months ...

there is no 'nasty hormone'

there is a small amount of evidence that one of the chemicals (BPA) used in the manufacture of the very clear plastic bottles may leach into boiling liquids poured into them but this will happen even with brand new bottles.

Have never heard of replacing them every 6m unless they are damaged.

Avent do spare parts for their pumps - is a good place to start but have a google.
