Sounds as if you are well prepared and im sure he will apadt perfectly, you may want to watch for caring relatives being too abrupt when your ds ' explores' the new arrival. We found that my parents and our inlaws were very shouty when ds1 went up to the baby and poked him ( lovingly of course!!) so tried to be more caring with the 'be gentle' ( this was a well used phrase in our house for many months!!) I didnt want ds1 to feel pushed out just because he was a clumsy 2yr old, but of course you have to look after the baby aswell

If the new baby is likely to get presents from family and friends make sure DS isn't forgotten. Either hint to family or have a few little wrapped up surprises you can pull out if necessary.
