Am I mad to start ttc baby No 3 tonight?

After much deliberation we've decided to try for baby No 3. I'm now having last minute heebie jeebies wondering if the dynamics of our family will be turned upside down for the worse.

Anyone with 3 children. Is the difference moving up to 3 as big as I found the difference going from 1 to 2? Do you feel that all children get enough of your time? Has it impacted negatively on your relationship with your DH/DP?

Thanks in advance for any views.

Going from 2 to 3 is a lot harder than one to two or even 0-1, ime.

It really is irrelevant what other people have experienced.

Each family is different and while 3 is hard, 2 wouldn't have been enough.

I totally found 1-2 the hardest transition by a long way.

2-3 was a real doddle for us, don't know why, especially as dd2 (no3) was unplanned and made me very ill.

It does change the dynamic - in that there are more kids than parents! You have to be careful of 'middle child' syndrome I think - for us mainly because our middle child is a boy, with 2 sisters!

It's hard work, but brilliant too!
