My DS loves it, always smacks himself in the face and wakes himself up if I dont do it. However, last night he wriggled so much that when he woke me for a feed he had covered himself in the blanket , scared me to death. However the blanket I used was a bit too small I think and he wasnt weighting it down properly. Seems better this afternoon in a big cellular blanket. I've looked it up today and book says to stop when they are "more active". When's this? DS is 11 weekks BTW. Thanks.

Its the need to tie his arms up tho mosschops! that a grobag doesnt do.
So if its 'until they kick the blanket off' is that what he did last night and therefore I should stop?

Ds was swaddled until 6 months when I finally plucked up the courage to use a grobag instead.

But I used a Miracle Blanket which I had to order from the US (can you tell I was desperate to get some sleep?) and it holds their arms really securely. He looked like a little tortilla wrap
