Hi I found that this week that I am pregnant. If I am right I am due in November. My DS will be 2 in May and I am trying to think of toys, presents for his birthday which he will enjoy, but that will make my life easier when I don't want to go out (later on) as well as something to keep him entertained when the baby is first born. Any ideas? I have many friends and family asking me what he would like and I want to make the best of it. Someone is going to get him a play piano (likes music) and someone a tricycle (loves cars and riding). He has craft stuff as he is really into painting and all that stuff. THANK YOU! :-0

A little toy cooker went down a storm with my ds. Brio do a lovely one for about £30, not too big, but big enough for two kids to play at later on.
I bought some lovely toy food, and saved a few little packets from around the house. Ds helps himself to saucepans, tupperware and ikea kids cutlery, and is entertained for literally hours, and itt is sooo cute watching them mimic what you do in the kitchen and bake pretend cakes just for you!

My ds also loves toy cars and his road map rug.

Sorry i cant be more help - i am sure there will be plenty of people with loads of great ideas!

Also suggest a doll that he can play with, get him used to nappy changes and things!
