birthday party for 2 year old suggestions

It is my dd's birthday in a month and I am thinking of having a small party with five or so children of similar ages, to last for about 2 hours with a bit of food.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for games or activities for them to do. Too cold to be outside, i thinking maybe home made playdough, a few songs, singing?

Need to keep them occupied for two hours and do not have experience of doing this for so many at once!

singing yes, playdough if you have space for it without it being ground into the carpet, but mainly I would just get DD's toys out and let them play.

I would limit to 1.5 hours too, tbh, and be warned, the children wil probably not eat much from my past experience

It was my DS's 2nd birthday in April - we had a paddling pool in the garden and 6 little friends and their parents over. I know its not the weather for a paddling pool, but maybe you could do an indoor activity for the kids (like a pop up tent and tunnel combo that they can play with and a few toys they can play with) then a little tea for them and the parents and a cake. Definitely limit it to 1.5 hours max.

Play-doh and singing sounds good. And just let them play with toys... IME is a waste of time doing 'organised' games, they just don't get it

Thanks everyone, i guess i needed a little reassurance that doing a big structured party would be a bit too much at this age.

We are going to have about five children, their parents, toys, playdough, light lunch of finger foods and i am off to ikea for a tent and tunnel.
