At lunch time yesterday, DS2 (4) said "yuk, I hate that!" to which I replied "don't say hate, say 'I dislike it intensely'". Now he says "I don't like it very tensely" to everything!

PigeonPie Mon 27-Oct-08 11:02:13

One of DS1's favourite dishes (Macaroni Cheese) used to be called 'Manky Cheese'. That one has had to stick!

DD said this morning 'Mummy got her phone ears on'. (head/ear phones - showing me age)

At least she can say arms now. Before it was 'I got sleeves on my arse...'

Ds1 wants to be a magic wander when he's older because they make things look like rabbits.
I think he means magician.

DS had a music thing from Mcdonalds (sugababes i think) anyway the lyrics are "cos I know how i feel about you now"
DS sings "cos i know how i feel back to null"

Grumpalina Mon 27-Oct-08 11:13:12

My DS2 aged 3 insisted on calling 'Dick and Dom' the tv programme 'Dick and Dong'.

I kept thinking SS would turn up on our doorstep thinking he was watching porno videos!!!

RedOnHerBeheadedHead Mon 27-Oct-08 11:14:30

DS calls his testicles "go-nuts" because he heard DH call them gonads!

wotsits Mon 27-Oct-08 11:23:51

DD 2.2 says (loudly) " fuck fuck" instead of 'quack quack'

OhNooo Mon 27-Oct-08 11:32:57

Don't know it this quilifies but my DD(2.5) started sinning "Mary had a little man" yesterday. Sound so cute and funny when she sings it as she is so serious while singing all of the words.

a friend of mine's DS used to ask for the 'nking video when he wanted to watch the Lion King

Having heard me say, 'Have a nice day' to my dh as he left for work, my ds1 started wishing him a 'Happy Nice-day' as he left! That one's stuck. Ds2 used to call eyebrows hairbrowns.

Ds1 used to call airplanes, Air-see-sees, and helicopters were Cor-cuk-cuks - and when he told a pilot friend of ours this, the pilot went back and told all his pilot friends, and for a while they were ALL calling them Air-see-sees and Cor-cuk-cuks!

Ds1's first effort at cappucino was cafertini-war.

And a little girl (ds of a friend) who'd overheard someone else at school saying, 'You aren't my friend any more - you can't come to my party,' was overheard to say to her sister - 'I'm not your friend - you're not my party!!!'
