Where do you buy crepe paper now? Not WH Smiths, anyway.

Does everyone buy ready made Hallowe'en gear now? I've been all over the place and can't find any crepe paper to make Mister Maker's boingy bats. There were plenty of bats (and witches and rats and spiders) ready made to buy, but it's not much of an activity, is it, buying rubber bats? I don't want to sound like a Monty Python Yorkshireman, but in my day we used to collect twigs in the woods to make witches' brooms and make everything out of black paper.

I was in Hobbycraft earlier in the week and they ahd every colour of crepe paper you could imagine.

Have you tried online shopping, incl. Ebay?

Sometimes greetings card shops sell it.

Never heard of the Works, but there's one not too far away, thanks! None of the greetings card shops had black, although two had red and white. Maybe the Halloween people took it all!

D'oh, just white and green at the Works, but it was a brilliant suggestion. That leaves me the millions of cheap offers on amazon and ebay, but I think they're not going to give us time for much fun before Halloween. Thanks anyway.

An update on this riveting situation: I ordered some express delivery from Amazon, and the seller cancelled the order today. I bloody give up!
