We had this with ds and my hv advised me to take him to gp for a referral on to clinic. Ds was fine, is apparently very common at his age (2).

oooooh I know. Trying to see a hv can be really difficult especially if you work. Also getting them to answer a phone is even harder . I do not mean to upset any hv's out there.
I would definately take her to your gp rather than hv. Gp can refer her on.

Oh fgs - what is it with some HVs? (Am a HV too).

Not sure how old your DD is but turning the foot inwards is very common when children first walk and is usually nothing to worry about. It is usuually a maturity thing which corrects itself as they get older and more experienced and confident with walking. If it continues to be marked then a physio will be able to assess whether or not it needs treatment.

I cannot for the life of me understand why a HV sitting idly could not have dealt with your query on the spot. + (irritated emoticon)

.... and no you are not being unreasonable to expect some flexibility.
