Take a very well behaved and small dog around the block for a walk on her own? Doesn't involve crossing any roads, and takes about 5 minutes.

my dd -aged 9 - says this depends if your dd is sensible - and also they must take a bagwith them in case the dog poops

cocolepew Wed 17-Sep-08 18:50:09

I would really, I just wanted to ruin the line of yes's.

My DD is 9, I would trust her to walk the dog but I would be worried about other dogs that might be out.

My dog was mauled by another dog several years ago, he had to have emergency surgery after bleeding from the ear.
I wouldn't even walk the dog after that happened!

ChasingSquirrels Wed 17-Sep-08 18:52:03

yes, I used to take ours out for an hour+ at 9/10.
