A happy thread for a bad day!

Just loving being tucked up in my cosy warm house (put heating on as a treat to myself)with my ds who is so full of fun and giggles today.

I've had 4 hrs sleep total over the last two nights and expected today to be hard work. Instead i'm just really enjoying being in old comfy clothes and not having to go anywhere.

See sleep deprivation isn't all bad, once the delerium sets you see the world through different eyes .

The world today is even better. 12 1/2 hours sleep straight . DH did all night feeds etc and I didn't know anything about it. DS slept in till 9.30, which is unheard of and we have had a great day. Lots of fun and giggles all round.

Sometimes it the little things in life that make you realise how unimportant the big things really are .

I'm having the most lovely day too.

DS is spending the day with his Granny and Grandpa. DH is at work. I'm home alone!!!

Spent the morning out shopping, spend the afternoon in bed (I'm 32 wks pg, that's my excuse) and I'm gently pottering around now fiddling with baby stuff ready for when DC2 arrives.

It's been heaven

Here's to the happy days :-)
Had a good one yesterday myself - picking fruit and veg in the mud at Garsons farm with my 3 gorgeous children. Today we made pumpkin soup!

Cupcake - when I pour myself a large glass of red (about 7.30pm) will toast your wonderful DH and his night feeds. Wish there were more of him!
