Vibe:

Do you find that with the seat fully reclined in the newborn position that the head is lower than their bottom once you undo the zips???? I'm having to have my zips half undone but they don't stay there very well!

Also - where do you buy replacement inner tubes from?

Vibe & Sport:
What's the youngest age roughly that you can put them in the extra second seat (that clips on) at the back (fully reclined)?

4mths for the second seat in my sport

you can just use a puncture repair kit on the inner tube (like on a bike)
oxfordpramcentre probably sell them

I do not find that at all once the seat is reclined to lie flat position, But, I have the e3 not the sport. Does not sound right to me

Back seat as per doubles kit says from 6 months, but it is pretty much when the baby can hold it's head up properly on it's own

We did the zips up completely, from when dd2 was born, as we found this too, with zips done up she was on a very slight incline.

Thanks for your replies - I'm also finding it a nightmare doing up and undoing the harness on the baby when the second seat is attached at the front due to very little clearance space - is yours the same???

I don't think ours had a harness, we just used to slide her in like a torpedo! There aren't any straps which would have held her in when it was in newborn setup, but ours is the e3.

I'm not sure about replacement inner tubes, I have just spent an hour trying to squeeze inner tube slime in (to prevent punctures), whilst my 2.5 yr old and 15 month old 'help'.

Hazeyjane - that's interesting - what age did you put her in the second seat rather than the newborn one?

I think she was about 4 and a half months, as she just got too long for the bag, and her older sister kept hanging onto the end, which made it tear - a disaster waiting to happen!
