Got a bit choked up at this...wanted to share

DS has just received an email from a girl that he used to go to school with. He was obsessed with her for nearly 2 years but she knew and took advantage...talking to him one minute (to get at her friends if they'd fallen out) and ignoring him the next.

Anyway he still thought loads about her anyway.

Then she moved home to Malaysia and he was quite upset. He emailed her but got no reply.

Anyway months later she emailed back explaining that they'd had no internet when they first moved etc...now they've been emailing back and forth for a few months and I've just read her latest one asking for his address so she can send photos and proper letters. She said she's almost forgotten what he looks like and she's sorry she was ever mean to him in England . DS's eyes filled up when he read it (as did mine!).

Just wanted to share this...they're only 9 btw but its amazing how strong feelings can run even at this age.
