Hi
My ds is quite popular at school and frequently has school friends home after school for tea.
However this is the only contact he has with children his own age he is 7 btw.
He never plays out with anybody in the street, there never really appears to be any children out playing where I am so he doesn,t have any mates at all out of school.
I have worried and fretted about this alot wondering if this is okay and if my ds is missing out.
I s this unusual do you think as I am aware that many children these days have neighbourhood friends that they play out with.
It is something that has been bothering me alot.
There are no cousins etc of his own age to play with.
I also don,t have friends with children so nobody there either.
Is anybodys else,s child like this.
He is an only btw.
