The name of the book didnt come up on the thread I just tried to start. Anyone read it, got anything from it?

Sorry - only just found this! I've raved about this book in the past and recommended it to lots of people. There's quite a lot of reading before you get to the nitty gritty of tackling the issue, but I still found it very useful and it helped to clarify lots of my thoughts about parenting generally. HTH and isn't too late!

Thanks for the response 3Princesses did you do all the stuff like writing down family values etc? Or just cherry pick strategies like Stop Pause Redirect, sometimes it feels very harsh like encouraging you not to listen or let them explain, what do you think? Re your name - have you got three girls? I've got two 4 and 2 and thinking of having another but cant decide if it would be too hard - how do you find it?
