Teething help for a clueless ftm pretty please

So baby is very fussy and hot to touch with no fever. I know for his age that is completely normal (the fussiness anyway, I figure the heat is just his normal temp as he's been checked out for another reason and the doctor wasnt bothered in the slighted by it) but he's also got these tooth shaped white bits on his gum line. Am I jumping the gun thinking he s teething or could I actually be right?

Looks like teething to me. Try him with a dose of paracetamol and some Dentinox teething gel Smile

My daughter had these appear a couple of months before her teeth actually cut through. It only bothered her at this first stage - didn't even realise they'd cut through until I happened to see them one day. Bonjela definitely helped.

Thank you for the responses! @JiltedJohnsJulie he's not old enough for paracetamol or anything yet but I've looked at the dentinox gel and that's from birth so will give that a bash.

I've had a feel around this evening and it definitely feels sharp too Confused.

@DerbyshireMama good to know it only caused issues at this stage and not cutting through. Hopefully same here!

Agree a bit of calpol and we swear by teething powder (boots sell one). Seems to help them sleep too.

he's not old enough for paracetamol That's a shame. Hope you get on ok with the teething gel.

I've never used one but some MNers swear by amber necklaces as well.
