My ds watching terrible things on YouTube

When my son isn't playing fortnite on the xbox, he is watching YouTube. Most of the videos there are bad, but the channel he watches (Morgz) is just something else. To those who haven't had to endure his videos, he does those 24-hour challenges (e.g. I Spent the Night in a Swimming Pool & It Was Shocking! 24 Hour Overnight Challenge), and no matter how much I try to stop him watching them, even when I blocked YouTube on his phone he just watched them at his friend's instead. Anyone else had to deal with this generation's addiction to Morgz? And if so how do I stop it?

How old is he? Until my oldest was 13 I didn't let him have any unsupervised access to youtube, it went from watching it together to him sitting next to me but me not watching then to him in the room and once I was sure I could trust him I let him watch alone.
DD and I still watch together or with her next to me as she is only 11.

Sounds like the same kind of crap my 10yo ds is into! I think it's just what they like watching nowadays. My ds spends ages watching some super annoying man playing Pokémon so I feel your oaib

Yes at 10 it would supervise access only and not visiting friends whose parents allow unsupervised access.
That said mine didn't have a phone at 10 (11 year old still doesn't) only shared devices so easier to put limits in place.
