Start using Mumsnet PremiumDrool rash
(9 Posts)Lansinoh. It’s miraculous.
My DD only had a small rash on her chin, I applied sudocrem and left it on her skin a little white- not completely rubbed in and it cleared up completely in one day.
Another vote for Lansinoh. That stuff is amazing. Cleared my DS’ rash up basically overnight
Drapolene
Sudocrem (but it can leave clumpy bits on the surface if you use too much), or Aveeno baby moisturiser (soaks in really well but no good if the skin is broken) or breast milk if you are feeding. Water is really drying so try and catch the dribble with a bib if poss and reduce how much you are using water.
We had the same problem and the GP recommended zinc and castor oil cream which really helped!
Thank you!! I'll try it
Lanisoh, the nipple cream stuff
Hi could anyone recommend me the best products to use on a bumpy and dry drool rash on the neck?
Tried diprobase, Vaseline and metanium with no success
We clean it with warm water and cotton wool twice a day (too much maybe)? And keep it as dry as possible
We rarely use body wash on him to try and keep any irritation down
Thank you in advance!
