Start using Mumsnet PremiumHumidifiers do they help?
(5 Posts)DS has an awful cough (not Covid) last night he woke up coughing at midnight and didn't stop until 4am 😫
I've heard humidifiers are meant to be good for their rooms to put most items back into the air so they don't cough as much because of the cold dry air?
Has anyone had any positive experiences with them? Would you say they actually work?
Thanks
Honestly the only thing that dealt with a cough was cough medicine. You can get some thats for 3+ months.
Humidifiers are good for when they're congested.
I draped damp cloths over the radiator earlier this year when my baby had a never ending cough - cheaper than a humidifier and works on the same principle.
I’m not sure if it did any good but I was willing to try anything at the time!
Utterly brilliant. It took until DC3 for me to realise this. Argos is your friend for this!
Window open a bit. All through winter. Haven't used asthma meds since.
