Front Sleeping resulting in leaking nappy

Hi everyone, my DD (12 months) has taken to sleeping on her front which is fine but recently her nappy has started to leak up the front and is soaking through her
nightclothes.
We've tried a slightly bigger nappy which hasn't work so I'm looking for any tips anyone can give me please!

Don't want her being uncomfortable at night or to have to be washing and drying everything on a daily basis!

Has anyone experienced the same and if so, what did you find worked best?

Maybe try a boy's nappy at night, as that will have more front absorbency

Put it on back to front?

If she's sleeping through she isn't uncomfortable.
Boy's nappy is a did idea

Back to front nappy and make sure vest/PJ's/sleep suit aren't too tight as that can cause leaks.

We stuck a Tena Lady across the inside of the belly band horizontally with DS for several months. Did the trick and he eventually outgrew it.

What are you using? DD3 (just less than a year) is a front sleeper and I use pampers nappy pants which haven't leaked.

I have literally just come on here to say the same thing! Ds is 6 months and recently started sleeping on his belly- he sleeps so much bettter/ longer now. But nappy is leaking all up the front every day. Last night I tried him in his normal nappy with a size up pull up over the top and it still leaked!! The pull up was bone dry too somehow! It must be the waistband- wil try the idea of a tena lady.

Confused by the ‘boy’ nappy comments- is this a thing!? I thought all nappies were unisex?

Thanks everyone, we use Tesco Nappies which seem to suit her best. I didn't know you could get boy / girl nappies?!

I'll try the Tena pad, thank you

I had this exact issue with my little boy. On a friend's advice I used pampers premium protection nappy pants (has to be the pants!) at night and never had the problem again! They are expensive compared to his usual aldi nappies but as I only used 1 a day it wasn't too bad - hope that helps!

We had this issue. Get the elasticated nappy pants for nighttime. Completely changed our lives!

Use Pampers pants. Supermarket own brand nappies are fine for day (I use Asda) but you do get what you pay for - pampers are much better at night!

Ohhh @greystar30thaysgood to know. I’ve had a couple of success with them over the top of a nappy but haven’t tried them on their own yet as the ones o have in are TV e next size up. Will look at giving it a go though, fed up of washing!
