How old is the child and how heavy/tall are they?

She will be 4 in December.
Roughly 17.5kg and 105cm

So you need to weigh her fully clothed - most seats only harness to 18kg and ideally you’d keep her harnessed to at least 4.5 years, although 4 would be ok so long as she’s sensible, sits straight, doesn’t fall asleep in the car etc. You may be better looking at a 25kg harnessed seat as an alternative option.

She is big for her age and yeah iv noticed i cant get a harness for above 18kg.

its actually for my MIL car as she has bought a very impracticable 'sports car' that has isofix in rear but no lap belt, only a one strap shoulder belt HmmAngry

What do you mean? Due to the car?

What car is it? I’m sure we can come up with something. The other option would be a rear facing seat on the front passenger seat
