How old is the child and how heavy/tall are they?

She will be 4 in December.
Roughly 17.5kg and 105cm

So you need to weigh her fully clothed - most seats only harness to 18kg and ideally you’d keep her harnessed to at least 4.5 years, although 4 would be ok so long as she’s sensible, sits straight, doesn’t fall asleep in the car etc. You may be better looking at a 25kg harnessed seat as an alternative option.

She is big for her age and yeah iv noticed i cant get a harness for above 18kg.

its actually for my MIL car as she has bought a very impracticable 'sports car' that has isofix in rear but no lap belt, only a one strap shoulder belt hmmangry

Iv just did some research and discovered DD cant travel in rear of car from 18kg over.

What do you mean? Due to the car?

Sorry, why cant she travel in the rear of the car?? Is it a 2 seater or something

What car is it? I’m sure we can come up with something. The other option would be a rear facing seat on the front passenger seat

It's a Peugeot RCZ

Its 2010 model and rear seats only have shoulder belt, no lap belt
