(1 Post)Looking for some advice/reassurance. Is it normal for a 1 year old to be super emotional! My little boy has so many tantrums every day. He is walking now but has a huge meltdown screaming and crying and getting very angry whenever I get him to walk a different direction from where he wants to go. This happens several times every day. He also gets really overexcited, he will flap his arms loads and shout and do a high pitched squeal. He was never a calm, quiet baby and has never liked just being held or cuddled for long. He was a very whiny baby. He will play quietly with toys like trucks or cars for a while but will then get angry at them and start whining/crying.
Does this behaviour seem normal? Will he calm down eventually cos at the moment I'm envisioning behaviour problems for life!
