(4 Posts)Hi!! I am a new mom and my baby is 2 month old. I was given an expired vitamin drop by nhs children centre and gave it to my baby without checking. I called my health visitor and she told me its ok as its just 7 days after expiry.
I am worried.
It's absolutely fine. Likely to be a best before date, in which case quailty would suffer but its not dangerous
It will be absolutely fine.
Think of it this way - The regulating authorities are not going to approve an infant drop for use with babies if it becomes dangerous when slightly expired.
