Ice cold feet

Hi everyone,

Not sure if you came across my gp thread - before I even think about making an appointment I wanted to ask you lovely mums!

Last time I mentioned to gp she didn't seem bothered.

My 8 month old has ice cold feet. It feels like its freezing!! It could be hot like that two days we had - house temp was showing 28 degree she was in her vest and nappy, her body was warm but her feet were freezing cold! I put her socks on which looked silly but wanted her to feet to warm.

Thankfully she doesn't have a temperature. Normally its 36.5 or 36.6 but one or twice it was showing 36.2. I put the socks back on.

Thing she hates socks. Keeps trying to take them off and she is really good at that. 2. It so hot and I'm so worried about over heating.

Why is her feet so cold when her body is warm?

I'm not sure what to do?

My baby had cold feet when she was a bit younger all the time! I asked the health visitor and she said it was normal for babies hands and feet to be cold! She said it’s not an accurate representation of their temperature which is why we check the nape of the back and chest not the hands/feet.

I wouldn’t worry 😊
