Eating/sleeping 8m - does this sound right?

Excuse the essay - I've got massively in my own head about DD's routine during lockdown (no baby groups for comparing notes, no HV hub for checks/advice) and i need a sounding board and probably a bit of a kick up the arse/reality check tbh!!

For context, DD was born on the 25 line but dropped off the chart due to bronchiolitis and silent reflux, before lockdown she was just about following the 2 line, but i haven't been able to weigh her since March. She's slim but not skinny, BF and eating solids, crawling, pulling up, shrieking like a demon, she seems great, but I'm worried that there's something I'm missing i get the feeling that once i can go places and see people again I'm going to magically find that I'm not nearly so obsessed by how many toast fingers she eats - does this routine sound about right for 8m??

7-7.30am wake, feed both sides
8.30-9am breakfast, maybe a tablespoon of yoghurt total, or a slice of melon, 2-3 toast fingers?
9.30-10am nap for 1-1.5 hrs
10.30-11ish, feed both sides
12-1pm lunch, leftovers from our dinner, pasta, cheese on toast, picky veg strips, breadsticks etc, generally only a few mouthfuls but she has lots of fun
2.30-4pm nap for 40min-1.5hr, depending on the day/mood
4.30 quick feed
6pm longer feed, dinner, usually yoghurt or porridge with breast milk,
6.30 bath
7pm story & bed, goes down awake, usually asleep by about 7.30
2amish wake & feed, often goes down awake

She'll sometimes wake up again around 4-5am but will usually just have a little shout and then go back to sleep.

Having written it all out it looks fine, but I'm worried about weight gain, her not eating enough solids OR not getting enough milk, too much daytime sleep, not enough, is the room too hot, does she hate the new socks i bought her... i really need a reality check here! This is fine, right? Ive lost my bloody mind.

Sounds great - not dissimilar to our routine albeit DS is 10 months and is FF. Oh, and he's decided to wake up at 5am recently but we'll gloss over that. I am generally of the view that babies are good and self-regulating with regards to food. If they're hungry, they eat. If they're not, they don't and there's not a massive amount you can do about it. I follow the principle that I am responsible for putting healthy and varied stuff on a plate and they are responsible for how much they eat. No stress. Sometimes DS eats a massive amount, sometimes he doesn't. My mum pointed out that my brother (now 33) is exactly the same and always has been. We always joke that he's like a squirrel and will have phases of eating a huge amount and then phases of not eating much. DS also seems to eat more when he's learning to do something new.

Generally the nhs says 3 meals a day from 9 months but 8 months is really close to 9 so I wouldn’t change what you are doing.

Do you have an adult set of scale so you can weigh yourself holding the baby and then just weigh yourself to get an idea of her weight.

Sounds like she is sleeping really well for her age so everything must be good for her.

@lockdownseparation yeah, i thought she might be a little young for it, she barely eats anything at breakfast, but tbh it was mainly to keep the peace - she got absolutely furious when we ate our breakfast if she didn't get some too!

@theproblemwitheyes you sound like me! Constantly checking temperature. Changing feeding schedule everyday 😂 does she like this / that.

Her is our schedule for now.

5:00am bottle!
7am breakfast (2oz)
9:30 bottle
12:00 lunch (2oz)
14:00 bottle
4:00 yoghurt / fruit
6:30 bottle
22:00 bottle ( maybe 2 oz)

The rest of the bottles are 4-5 oz.

Bed time 8-9

I give her that last bottle so she doesnt wake up through the night. Which seems to be working.

She wakes up at 7:00.

I was going crazy with if she was drinking the right amount eating the right amount but iv calmed down now. She was in hospital for over two weeks had jaundice for 3 months! Low blood count etc so it has been very stressful.

I just go with her flow.. if she doesnt want to eat or drink i just wait it out.

For some reason though she seems to be napping long today.. normally her naps are 30 minutes. Today it been over an hour.
