So mum of beautiful 15 w/o DS. Not newborn but still in a fuzzy stage I feel.
Yesterday I left the house with a vest top, a hoodie and then my bra on top of that all. Hadn’t realised until I wondered why I was uncomfortable and realised the bra I had meaning to put on for 2 hours while getting sorted was outside all my clothes.
Today went to get DS weighed and to be told my jumper was inside out with all tags showing.
Normally a very head screwed on type person.
Anyone else have these smack forehead moments with their little ones in the first few months?
Just for some comfort Smile

Not just you! Our two are older now, but I remember the time DH drove me and a very young DS to B&Q. We only realised he still had his slippers on as we went through the sliding doors! Grin

DD is 6 weeks old today.

I got out of the car in the shop carpark to see my knickers hanging off my shoe. I had to quickly pick them up and chuck them in my car very red faced.
I would have been less embarrassed if they weren’t a massive pair of post c section granny pants😖😖

Yesterday I went shopping with my jumper in inside out, a nice lady in peacocks let me know 😂

I went to my dads the other day, while we were mid-banter I said something along the lines of being super duper intelligent with no idea how solve he has the brain of a chimp.. he then pointed out my top was on inside out and I’m not as intelligent as I make out 😂 which is obviously true!

Oh dear @ThroughTheRoses I bet although embarrassed you were very comfortable at the party! I often wish we could wear slippers more often outside haha!

I once went to pick my daughter up with my dress on inside out. I also once wore my husband’s (massive) shoes out. These events did not occur in the sleep deprived early weeks, but many many years later, so there is no hope for any of you!

@YicketyYackMamasBack hahaha oh sorry for the knickers! That is certainly one to look back on after the haze and think well if I got through that then I’m doing well! I used to mock my mother for inside out tops, now I understand. Thank you for sharing.

I put the butter in the cupboard and the bread in the fridge the other day after making breakfast!

My favourite was when DS was a baby my OH said he'd change his nappy. OH went upstairs and into the nursery before realising that he'd left DS on his mat in the living room.

My DD is 14 weeks, and last Wednesday i was So Proud of myself because i left the house wearing a nice skirt, i had clean, brushed hair and i was even wearing mascara. I felt a million bucks. And then i took my jumper off at toddler group and realised i was wearing my pyjama top under it. The one that used to be my husband's, with the big rip over the left boob where there used to be a pocket. No bra. Tit fully out. The man at the coffee shop had to lend me an apron.
