It's my darling godaughters last day tomorrow aswell . She starts big school on tuesday, so i've bought her a little pressie today and a card! I was there when she entered the world, and when i think back to how i held her up to the window to show her the world, the thought of her starting school makes me want to cry . And to think it will be my Nephew doing the same thing this time next year [very sad face!] . I just hope my friend takes lots of photos on tuesday, as i'm not going to be able to be there now .

I think I will buy DD a little pressie tomorrow, to say she is a big girl now. She starts school on Thursday and I am praying unborn LO does not decide to turn up next Wed evening! I think I would have a heart attack if I miss her first day at school.

You're all getting me teary now! DS1 is 3, and is going to a new nursery in Sept, so yesterday was his last day at his current nursery. He was very happy there, but all of his friends are moving on. He is not quite going to "big school", really just another nursery, but it did feel a bit like the end of an era.

His main carer wasn't there though when I picked him up, so I am supposed to go back today to pick up his artwork, take a book back, but I really can't be bothered! (if it wasn't for the book I probably would just leave it). DS2 is asleep, so maybe I'll leave it till he wakes up...hopefully not for a long time yet!

Did you all buy your DC's carers presents when they left? I am never sure of the etiquette, when it's not just one teacher, but a group of them!
