Phil & Ted E3?

My dd will be 16 months when ds is born and I am thinking of buying this pushchair, does anyone have one and if so what do they think of it? Also, we travel a lot, so if anyone can tell me what it's like to travel with that would be great. We currently have a bugaboo gecko and have found the travel bag to be really good on flights.

We love our PHil & Ted's but the baby hated it. He was sitting bolt upright from 10 weeks. Otherwise he screamed blue murder if he was in the shopping basket in the bottom. Having said that, he's very long, so his big brother's knees bottom was practically on his knees from birth. And he hated lying flat.

I would have preferred to get the ABC Everest but couldn't get one 2nd hand.

I have the same gap between mine and found the P&T brilliant, and we had a bugaboo frog before. Its much heavier than a bugaboo, and I had difficulty hoisting into the car for the first few weeks after a c-section, but now its fine.

We've left ours at home rather than take it on a flight and I don't think it would be particularly travel friendly, as it is pretty unwieldy.

Other than that I love it, its narrow enough, really manouverable and both mine love it.

ours was/is great! DD slept really well in it and toddler could sleep in doubles kit too. great too now were just using it as a single as it lies flat quite easily. Great to push too.

Not sure about the build quality . The fabric has worn a bit and the shopping basket split slightly. However, it has survived a daily school run of 1.5 miles!

Great to get through doorways...

agree with moodlum. They're brilliant doubles but not very travel-friendly I wouldn't have thought.

Absolutely loved mine, as did the children. I used it as a single long after I needed a double as it was so comfy to push.
