Toddler Chicken Pox v Baby

Morning. DS (2) started to show chicken pox spots on Friday. He's been indoors since. DD (6 months) has not shown any signs of contracting chicken pox. Should she still stay in, or can she go out? Advice would be appreciated thank you!

She is fine to go out. If she comes down with a chesty cold or other signs of infection, then it could be chicken pox. It's infectious from the first signs of the respiratory like symptoms (though not all children get them) until spots have crusted over. It can be 3 weeks easily from exposure to spots appearing though, so you'll go mad being inside for a month!

mindutopia - Thank you. I thought this, but needed some reassurance. You are most kind.
